This coin is dated around 1120 and comes from the Holy Roman Empire. This type of coin, of which a monetary deposit of over 800 examples has been found, comes from the present-day municipality of Kirchberg, in present-day Bavaria. Wiprecht II is the founder of the Pegau Monastery, and his wide is the Bavaria's king daughter.
