A few words about this fabric

The depiction of flying horses on silk reflects the cultural exchanges that followed the expansion of Hellenistic artistic traditions into regions of the Near and Far East, where the Greek Pegasus was transformed through local aesthetics, incorporating ornamental details such as ribbon-like streamers and circular pearl decorations.
Many artifacts survived. Such pattern is widespread all across Eurasia, during early medieval era.
