Product description

Generic early medieval tunic, decorated with historical stamps. The use of stamped patterns, applied on fabrics is attested in the Rus' region, but artifacts also attest to this practice in Western Europe during the Early Middle Ages. It was a less expensive substitute for silk brocade, which was worth a fortune at the time.

Production time

4-6 weeks

Technical features

Outer layer: woolen fabric.
Monochrome silk edges.

Linen lining (natural color) for comfort and temperature regulation during exercise.
All visible seams are handmade, for maximum authenticity.

How to order?

1. Provide your body measurements, as shown on our chart.
All measurements must be taken, taking into account any underlayers you may be wearing underneath.
All measures are to be communicated in centimeters.
+15% cost for any XXL or larger body measurements. This additional cost - which is reasonable - is explained by an increased need for raw materials and by longer sewing work.

2. Choose background colour (wool)

- Please write the desired color for the background. We will then email you a photo of the corresponding fabrics in stock.
As example: "I want a dark blue background"

3. Choose your stamping pattern

Stamping patterns catalogue = Click here!

- Please indicate the desired pattern number. (As example: "1" or "12" ...)
- Then indicate the desired color. (As example: "Black" or "White" ...)
For your information: we recommend choosing a color that contrasts with the background color of your garment. For example, if you choose a dark background color, choose a light color for high conrasted patterns. And vice versa.

4. Choose the monochrome silk edging colour

Select the desired color by consulting our catalog: Click here!
As example " SM1, or SM5..."
