Helmet description

Beautiful replica of the classic nasal helmet, in vogue from the end of the 10th and very widespread in the 11th century. Many similar examples have been found in Eastern Europe. Concerning Western Europe, the Bayeux tapestry (Battle of Hastings, 1066) shows many examples of this helmet.

Made of 2mm "st3" steel. Nasal part 3mm thickness.
Everything is hand-forged by quality craftmens. Chainmail is hand-made, from the wire, to the final riveting by a specialized maker. We do not provide any chainmail / helmet from India, or Pakistan!
Invisible protective face mask, 1,5mm steel, blackened. Protective neck steel plates, 1,5m steel, blackened.
Full chainmail aventail 10mm diameter rings. The perfect combination, mixing great protectiveness and historically correct look.
* It is possible to choose rings with a diameter of 8mm for the aventail, at an additional cost.

Indeed, the weight of a helmet varies greatly, depending on the model, the size.
