Product Details

Early Germanic - Merovingian era.
Battle ready (edges 2.2 - 2.5mm)
Total lenght 90cm
Blade 76cm.
Weight: 1200g.
Blade width near the crossguard: 53mm.
Point of balance about 18cm.
No gutter. We deliberately oriented the rivets of the guard towards the blade, contrary to the photo of the original artifact. Indeed, after a test, it turned out to be obvious that the original artefact had been reassembled by the collector, and the rivets arranged upside down. Indeed, rivets oriented towards the hand interfere with the handling of the weapon.
Pommel & guard made of copper alloy fittings. Copper alloy ring in the center of the handle.
Steel 60S2A
Made on order. Production time 4 weeks.
