Helmet description
A beautiful helmet, from modern Ukraine, Chernigov Region. The original artifact has been digged from a burial mound, and has been the property of a wealthy warrior, who died in the 10th century, most probably.
Since only a small fragment survived from the front plate on the original, we choose to simplify the frontal decoration brass pannel. But we can offer you a finely chiseled version of the decorative brass pannel at an additional cost.
The motif is directly copied from another object also decorated with a brass plate, and coming from the same tomb. The visual rendering is amazing!
Suitable for Rus as well as slavic warriors.

Made of 2mm "st3" steel. Nasal part 3mm thickness.
Everything is hand-forged by quality craftmens. Chainmail is hand-made, from the wire, to the final riveting by a specialized maker. We do not provide any chainmail / helmet from India, or Pakistan!

Indeed, the weight of a helmet varies greatly, depending on the model, the size, and whether or not a chainmail aventail is added.

Our helmets are fully customizable:
- You can choose the inner circumference of your helmet.
- You can choose three types of exterior finish: classic, "raw" or "blackened".
- You can add a chainmail aventail, open, or closed (protecting the face then).
- You can choose the diameter of the rings.
- You can add borders with brass rings on the outline of your aventail.
- You can choose the method of fixing your aventail: spaced holes, close holes, system, "gutter" system, and hooks.
