HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION
Rus' / Slavic helmet from Gnezdovo, a famous trading post. Gnezdovo was one of the largest cities outside the Carolingian realm during the High Middle Ages, along with Hedeby in Denmark. A Viking elite lived in Gnezdovo, but the majority of the population was undoubtedly Slavic.
SPECIFICATIONS
2 mm stainless steel. Delivered with jugular straps, and leather parachute. Leather colour may vary from beige to brown, according to stocks. Ideal for medieval sports (Eastern-Western style, HEMA, etc.). The weight varies depending on the size. 2,5-3kgs averagely. This weight estimate does not take into account the weight of the chainmail. INCLUDES CLOSED AVENTAIL. 10mm diameter RIVETED rings.

To choose the right helmet size, you should measure your head circumference WITH the arming cap, and generally add 1 cm (for safety/comfort).
