Convex / conical circular wood shield - Complete

Shield ready for battle.

Technical features & terms:

- 8-10mm thick wood. Covered with two layers of linen glued to the front, a layer behind.
- Pine wood handle. The thickness of the handle is decreasing towards the edges of the shield, in order to optimize the weight.
- Authentic shield boss, forged by hand and blackened, 2,5mm thick, fixed with historical nails.
- Hand-space (internal diameter) = 14,5cm. It is optimal for hands with protective gloves.
- Rawhide 1-2mm thick, hand cutted, and hand-sewn with waxed linen thread on edges. The perfect historical choice.
- Weight: 4000g.
