Historical informations
This coin is a bronze issue of Constantine I, struck in the early 4th century AD during a pivotal period of the Roman Empire. The obverse bears his portrait with the legend CONSTANTINVS AVG , asserting his imperial authority. The reverse depicts Victoria, holding a wreath and palm, symbols of military success. It reflects the imperial propaganda of Constantine’s reign, marked by consolidation of power and the rise of Christianity.
