Charles I of Anjou, born on March 21, 1227 in Paris and died on January 7, 1285 in Foggia, was King of Sicily (1266-1285), King of Albania (1272-1285), titular King of Jerusalem (1277-1285), Prince of Achaea (1278-1285), Count of Anjou, Maine and Provence (1246-1285).
